History of The Faith Center

On November 1, 2010, the late Rev. Henry K. Presley, pastor of Mt. Zero Missionary Baptist Church, heard God’s voice and stepped out on faith. Not only did he hear God’s voice, but God gave him a vision of a new church, “The Faith Center.” The first service for The Faith Center was held on December 31, 2010 at Hayes Samuel's Chapel in Manning, South Carolina, and a service was held at Bassard's Pond House on the following Sunday.

On June 19, 2011, Father’s Day, Rev. Major Lloyd became our interim pastor of The Faith Center after the passing of our pastor, the late Rev. Henry K. Presley on June 12, 2011. On September 30, 2012, we had a land dedication service for The Faith Center and on December 15, 2013, Rev. Major Lloyd became pastor of The Faith Center.

On February 14, 2015, we held our Ground Breaking Ceremony. On September 27, 2015, we had our building dedication program and on October 11, 2015, our pastor, Rev. Major Lloyd preached his first sermon in The Faith Center.
